No longer Accepting Submissions After August 31, 2024

Dear Readers and Journal Article Submitters,

As of August 31st, 2024, submissions will no longer be accepted. Papers that have been accepted up to that point will be published in 2025.

The reason for the change in publication is that I have decided to retire. So far, I have not found anyone who would like to take on the Managing Editor role.

Creating this journal back in 2007/08 has been quite a thrill for me!  I have seen the journal progress from only a few submissions (and one issue published per year) to many, many submissions (amounting to three issues per year).  Even though it has been a lot of work, I have appreciated each and every paper that has ever been submitted. I have learned so much about families from other areas/countries of the world. It has been fascinating.

I would like to thank everyone who has ever submitted.  With your submissions, you helped to create a wonderfully successful journal.

As for the journal, all issues will continue to be online and accessible once I have stepped down. So, there are no worries there.

Once again, thanks to everyone!  It's been a great ride!
