Inna Semetsky

Inna Semetsky, PhD, is presently a Research Academic with the Institute of Advanced Study for Humanity, University of Newcastle, Australia. Her book “Deleuze, Education and Becoming” has been published by Sense Publishers (Rotterdam) in 2006. Also in 2006 she contributed five entries on the topics “Noddings”, “Dewey”, “Jung”, “Semiotics”, and “Tarot”, to the Encyclopedia of Religious and Spiritual Development (edited by Dowling, E.M. and W. G. Scarlett; SAGE). In 2007 she guest-edited a special issue of Studies in Philosophy and Education, titled “Semiotics and Education” and contributed a paper titled “On the creative logic of education, or re-reading Dewey through the lens of complexity science” to the special issue of Educational Philosophy and Theory. Inna is currently editing a volume titled “Nomadic Education: Variations on a Theme by Deleuze and Guattari” (Sense).
