E. Yvette Stogner is currently a doctoral student in the department of Educational Theory, Policy, and Practice at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education, Master of Library and Information Science, and Education Specialist degrees from LSU. She is a National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certified teacher, a teacher consultant with the Southeastern Louisiana Writing Project, and a certified student teacher supervisor. She has 17 years of experience teaching English Language Arts in grade levels 6 through 12. Most importantly, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.
