Abstract

The Editorial Board of Evidence Based Library and Information Practice is pleased to announce the development of an annual award for the best original research article published in its journal.

The Editorial Board will select the winning article from original manuscripts published in each volume. A cash award will be presented to the winning author(s) following the publication of the final issue per volume and will be announced in the first issue of the following year. More information will be forthcoming on the journal’s website .

Author Biography

Editorial Team, Editor-in-Chief

Lindsay Glynn received her MLIS from UBC in 1998. Immediately following graduation, she spent two years managing the clinical archives at QLT Inc., a pharmaceutical firm in Vancouver. Since 2000, she has been working at the Health Sciences Library at Memorial University as Public Services Librarian and Instruction Coordinator. In this role she has led the reconstruction and development of the library's information literacy instruction program and coordinated computer search services. Working with faculty, she has successfully integrated information literacy and evaluation assignments into the curriculum in the Faculty of Medicine and the Schools of Pharmacy and Nursing. Lindsay's academic interests lie mainly in evidence-based clinical practice, evidence-based librarianship, information literacy instruction, distance learning and program evaluation. She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Epidemiology.
