Maximizing the Impact of Engineering Librarianship with a Literature Research Guidance Process.

The author comments on the role of the Literature Research Guidance Process (LRGP) in engineering librarianship. He reflects on his experience of joining the ranks of academia and expressing concerns with the infectiveness of traditional liaison librarianship on undergraduate engineering education. He advises science librarians to serve research instructors to improve their level of undergraduate student engagement.
