Abstract

The article presents tips for librarians who want to build relationships with faculty through research support. Topics discussed include two areas that library work overlaps with faculty research, the importance of librarians' search skills in research, and the three pillars of faculty work lives. Assisting faculty with their challenges to win their interest and trust is also recommended.
