Bryce McCormick is a Religious Studies PhD student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. McCormick researches the history of religion, race, and music in the US South with specific interest in early American New Orleans, Mardi Gras masking traditions, and Afro-Caribbean religious traditions.
