Jack A. Goldstone

Jack A. Goldstone is Professor of Public Policy at George Mason University. He is the author of Revolution and Rebellion in the Early Modern World (California, 1991), and “Efflorescences and Economic Growth in World History: Rethinking the ‘Rise of the West’ and the British Industrial Revolution,” Journal of World History 13 (2002):323–389, which won the Arnoldo Momigliano Prize of the Historical Society and the Barrington Moore Prize of the American Sociological Association.
