Author Biography

Alison Leslie Fisher, York University

Alison Fisher is a doctoral candidate in the Faculty of Education at York University. She has also worked as a secondary school teacher in the Greater Toronto Area for six years. Her research interests include critical theory, gender-based school violence, and the social organization of knowledge. Her doctoral research critically examines “anti-bullying” discourses and the impact of emerging “anti-bullying” policies in schools.
