Call for an
Editorial Intern with Evidence Based Library and Information Practice

The journal Evidence
Based Library and Information Practice
(EBLIP) is seeking an Editorial Intern to assist our editorial team. The ideal candidate will be in
place by November 2024 and will commit to serving a two-year term.
The role of the Intern is to:
The ideal candidate will be an MLIS (or
equivalent) student or a recent graduate (past 2
years) interested in evidence based practice and research methods, and who
possesses responsive communication skills and a strong attention to detail. The
position requires dedicated time on a regular basis, and it is therefore
essential that interested persons ensure that they have available time to
devote to this position prior to applying. The candidate should be prepared for
5-7 hours of time-sensitive work in the two weeks prior to the 15th
of the month for publication dates in March, June, September, and
December. The intern may also expect another 1-2 hours/month of work to
support the editorial team in between issues.
