A Design for the Construction and Evaluation of an Automatic Hypertext Generator

Abstract

My overall objective is to develop and evaluate ways of automatically incorporating hypertext links into pre-existing scientific articles. Hypertext can support all of the ways we believe people use printed versions of articles and can add additional useful features. However many readers find hypertext confusing and not all texts are suitable for conversion to hypertext.
