Methodological Obstacles to Empirical Research in Information Privacy
AbstractThis paper discusses the methodological difficulties of conducting research in information privacy, an area of information studies that has long been neglected by empiricists in spite of its growing importance. Privacy-related research, by its very nature, introduces special problems for empirical researchers, particularly when they require quantitative data.
