Abstract

This paper emanates from doctoral research conducted in the spring and summer of 2002 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. It addresses the following research questions: who uses the Internet in Ulaanbaatar? and what demographic and social factors are associated with Internet use? Questionnaires were administered to a sample (n=313) of the general population of Ulaanbaatar and in-depth. .
