Shaping of A Digital Library Canada’s North: The Case of the Inuvialuit Settlement Region

Abstract

This poster will introduce an environmental scanning
research project that is currently being conducted to
develop a digital library infrastructure for the Inuvialuit
Settlement Region (ISR) in Canada’s north to preserve
rich cultural heritage material of northern
communities and to facilitate sharing and
dissemination of such material.

Cette affiche présentera un projet de recherche
d’analyse de l’environnement qui est actuellement en
cours pour développer une infrastructure de
bibliothèque numérique pour la région
d’établissement des Inuvialuit (ISR) dans le Nord
canadien, dans le but de préserver les matériaux du
riche patrimoine culturel des collectivités du Grand
Nord et de faciliter le partage et la diffusion de ces
matériaux.
