Abstract

Religious information practices are informationpractices that consist of, or are related toreligious beliefs and practices. This present studyrelies upon the interpretation of certain religiouspractices, particularly those that involve the useof written text (both printed and oral), asinformation practices. Understood within theeveryday, these practices may include, forexample, reading passages from scriptures,listening to anorally-delivered homily containinga religious message or investigating religioushistory on the Internet.
