Author Biography

Denise Koufogiannakis, Editor-in-Chief

Denise Koufogiannakis is Collections and Acquisitions Coordinator at the University of Alberta Libraries. Prior to taking on her current position, she spent 7 years as a health sciences librarian. She is active in professional activities related to evidence based librarianship, recently sitting on the Program Committee of the 3rd International EBL conference, and co-founding the EBL interest group within the Canadian Library Association. She was Co-Chair of the 2nd International Evidence Based Librarianship Conference, held in Edmonton, Alberta in June 2003. Denise has published several articles related to EBL, and co-contributed three chapters to the Evidence Based Practice for Information Professionals handbook. Denise earned her BA from St. Francis Xavier University, MA from Queen's University, and MLIS from the University of Alberta.
