New Publishing Process for ISTL

The Editorial Board for Issues in Science and Technology Librarianship has decided to change to a rolling (or continuous) publication model starting in Winter 2025/26. ISTL began as a quarterly publication for winter, spring, summer, and fall issues when first publishing in 1991.   Rolling publishing in the process where articles are published as they are ready for publication; articles are then bundled into issues. This process benefits authors and the journal as it allows for faster publications, spread out workloads, and quicker dissemination of information.   When new articles are published, they will be announced on the ISTL website and for those subscribed to email alerts. Sign up for email updates, announcements, and other news about ISTL through the webform available at this link.   Special issues will be published in standard issue-based issues.   Questions?
