Electronic Lab Notebooks: Supporting Laboratory Data in the Digital Era.

Abstract

This article focuses on the collaboration of Yale University Library (YUL) and Information Technology Services (ITS) to introduce a service providing institutional support for electronic lab notebooks (ELN). Topics discussed the process involved in choosing a product, support considerations and the alternative steps that the groups might have taken. The outcome of the effort are explored.
