Farewell to Maren Elfert!

After years of dedicated service, JCIE Co-managing Editor, Maren Elfert, is moving on. During her time at JCIE, she spent countless hours collaborating with co-editors, working closely with copyeditors, corresponding thoughtfully with authors and special issue editors, and guiding issues through to publication. She has been foundational to the journal’s stability and integrity.

The editorial team at JCIE would like to express our sincere thanks for the extraordinary time, care, and leadership she has given to the Journal of Contemporary Issues in Education. Bathseba Opini and Carrie Karsgaard will continue as Co-Managing Editors.
