The purpose of Alternative francophone is to rethink the notion of francophonie according to the following axes: 1) to consider French as a minor language rather than as a universal language or a language of exception, 2) to promote exchanges between all francophonies, 3) to explore the diversity of cultural and identity configurations produced in the francophone context, 4) to implement a francophonie of resistance against linguistic and cultural totalitarianism, whatever it may be.
