Language and Literacy Call for Manuscripts for 2021 Pre- Conference Special Issue
2021-06-30Building from the 2021 Language and Literacy pre-conference theme: Literacy Entanglements & Relationality: Time, Space, Place, and Identity, this special issue of Language & Literacy seeks to engage in moving beyond and within entanglement, as well as toward and through evolving relationality, in the various dimensions of time, space, place, and identity.
This call is an invitation to presenters from the 2021 Language and Literacy Researchers of Canada pre-conference to share papers developed from this year’s “exquisite conversations”.
Deadline for Submission: November 17th, 2021, 23:59 MST

Language & Literacy Special Issue Call for Proposals--Post-Pandemic Classroom Literacies
2021-06-30For this special issue of Language & Literacy, we invite scholars working in K-8 (Reception through to Middle School) classroom research contexts or contexts that bridge home-community-school learning to share portraits—small-scale inquiries or studies—of post-pandemic literacies and literacy learning.
Articles for this special issue can be submitted in either English or French and will undergo a two-stage peer review process. Please see the attached call for papers for details.
Prospective authors are welcome to contact the guest-editors directly (Drs. Ronna Mosher rhmosher@ucalgary.ca and Kim Lenters k.lenters@ucalgary.ca (English) or Dr. Gail Cormier gcormier@ustboniface.ca (French) to informally discuss their proposed contribution or seek feedback on their abstract.
